Meet Dr. Dean Burnett

My interest in healthcare began at an early age. Both of my parents and an uncle worked in the medical field. It runs in the family: My two siblings are also doctors, in the dental and medical fields.

As a senior in high school, I suffered a traumatic dental accident that required emergency care on Thanksgiving Day. Since that experience, my passion for caring for those in need has only grown. This is reflected in my practice motto:

Saving smiles, one tooth at a time!

I am honored to be providing endodontic care for the community in which I grew up, and where I’m now raising my family.

Bellevue Commons Endodontics

Upon completing my education at Northwestern, I returned home to the Pacific Northwest and opened my practice in Factoria in 1993. I decided to move the office to our current location in 2013.

All the professionals at Bellevue Commons Endodontics maintain the highest levels of accreditation. We pursue ongoing continuing education to stay abreast of the latest developments and trends in endodontics. We are committed to the art and science of endodontics.

Each year, we complete courses at the National American Association of Endodontic meetings and the Pacific Northwest Dental Convention. We also take courses through the Levin Group.

I joined the faculty at the University of Washington Dental School as an affiliate associate professor in 1992. My interactions with new dentists and oral health specialists keep me challenged and engaged.

Each of my team members takes great pride in providing an exceptional patient experience, with care in a safe, gentle, friendly, and caring environment. My staff understands the need for an accurate diagnosis. They schedule appointments to allow me to diagnose the condition personally. If I find that treatment is required, we’re often able to complete it during that visit!

Community Involvement

Helping others is part of who I am.  I gladly donate time at the Remote Access Medical event in downtown Seattle, along with Special Olympics, the Treehouse Foundation, and Boys and Girls Club.

Personal Life

I love travel but found there is no better place than Bellevue in which to raise a family. I have an active lifestyle, and enjoy all the Pacific Northwest offers, with my wife Rhonna, our two children, and two black labs.
